State of New Jersey Coronavirus Update (March 21, 20202): Governor Murphy Announces Statewide Stay at Home Order, Closure of All Non-essential Retail Businesses - Click here for details.

Coronavirus Update (March 25, 2020):

In consultation and collaboration with the West Windsor Health Department, the district will officially expand our virtual/remote learning experience due to the health-related closure through Friday, May 1.  During that time, we will continue to reassess the public health crisis.  Should public health officials and Governor Murphy deem that it is safe to return to school prior to May 1, we will reassess and communicate to the public accordingly.  Furthermore, the school district is governed by the March 16, 2020, Executive Order No. 104. In that order, Governor Murphy stated that the schools would be closed as long as the Executive Order stays in place. The order further stipulates that, “The Commissioner of Education shall continue working with each public, private, and parochial school to ensure students are able to continue their education through appropriate home instruction.”

Spring Break will remain as it is currently scheduled.  The school district will be closed from Wednesday, April 8 – Sunday, April 19, returning to virtual instruction Monday, April 20.  April 8 and 9 are emergency closing days and are scheduled to be closed, as they were not utilized for inclement weather.

To our parents and families, I want to thank you for your unwavering support during extraordinary times.  We recognize the pressures of working from home, guiding your children through educational experiences, and maintaining balance for your family.

To our students, we miss you in our classrooms and in our hallways.  We are deeply saddened for the loss of experiences and opportunities that you are encountering.  Our faculty and staff is here for you and we want the best for your health, education, and futures.  Please stay committed to the pursuit of your studies and the learning journey we are all on together.  We ask you to heed the guidance of health officials. We urge you to stay connected but maintain social distance.  Your health and the health of your loved ones may depend on following this guidance.

To our educators, we are thankful for our continued work together.  We appreciate you and the efforts made to support our students and families.  We recognize that due to the health-related closures many of you have had to adjust to the dual role of educator and at-home parent who must also guide your own children’s learning.  Thank you for all of your continued efforts.

Together we can be the calm voice in our children's lives.
