Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is wonderful to have our students, staff, and families back in our school buildings, eager to learn and grow together. Back-to-School Nights will conclude next week at the high schools, and I hope all who attended found the evenings informative and engaging. Thank you to our families and staff for the strong turnout. A robust partnership between home and school is essential to supporting student success.

Throughout the 2026-2027 school year, I will share a Monthly Update with families and staff on the final Friday of each month (excluding holidays and school breaks). Each update will feature key information, reminders, and updates to keep our school community well-informed for the month ahead.

Week of Respect

From Oct. 5-9, 2026, WW-P schools and schools throughout New Jersey will observe Week of Respect. This week was designated by the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (P.L.2010, c.122) in order to raise awareness to prevent harassment, intimidation and bullying. In our schools, we celebrate with age-appropriate activities including school-wide theme days, character education, read-alongs, random acts of kindness, and more.

Elementary and Middle School Parent-Teacher Conference Dates

Strong communication between home and school is vital to student achievement. In addition to our Back-to-School Nights, Parent-Teacher Conferences provide a dedicated opportunity to connect directly with your child(ren)’s teachers. Individual schools will share specific details and scheduling procedures as conference dates approach. The conference schedule and associated early dismissals are as follows:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 20 

    • Elementary school parent-teacher conferences and early dismissal (half day preschool is closed)

  • Wednesday, Oct. 21

    • Elementary school parent-teacher conferences and early dismissal (half day preschool is closed)

  • Thursday, Oct. 22

    • Elementary school parent-teacher conferences and early dismissal (half day preschool is closed)

    • Middle school parent-teacher conferences and early dismissal 

  • Friday, Oct. 23

    • Elementary school parent-teacher conferences and early dismissal (half day preschool is closed)

    • Middle school parent-teacher conferences and early dismissal

New District Website and App

WW-P is transitioning to a new communications platform this fall to streamline communication between our schools and families. Please explore our updated District website at www.ww-p.org. The updated site features modern designs, improved navigation, refined search functions, and consolidated menu structures. Automatic redirects have been established for high-traffic pages, ensuring that bookmarks remain functional. 

Additionally, our new mobile app is available for download on both Apple and Google Play. Designed specifically for our school community, the app provides convenient access to event calendars, district notifications, news, and key resources. You can download the app via the links above or by searching for “West Windsor-Plainsboro RSD” in your app store.

New Athletics Scheduling App

In addition to the District app, the WW-P athletics department has transitioned to the DigitalSports app as our official scheduling and event management platform for athletics. 

DigitalSports will provide families, coaches, student-athletes, and fans with an improved way to access:

  • Team schedules

  • Game locations and directions

  • Scores and results

  • Schedule changes, postponements, and cancellations

  • Athletic announcements

Families and supporters are encouraged to download the free DigitalSports app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app allows users to follow multiple teams and personalize notifications based on the sports that matter most to them. Weather-related postponements, venue changes, cancellations, and game-time adjustments can be delivered directly to your mobile device.

Getting Started

  • Download the DigitalSports app.

  • Follow the initial setup instructions.

  • Select “Add Team” in the upper-right corner.

  • Search for West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North or West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South.

  • Select the teams you would like to follow.

  • Enable push notifications to receive immediate schedule changes and important announcements.
