Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉
From September 15th to October 15th, we celebrate the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. What began as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 became a month-long national observance in 1988.
This year’s theme, “Unidos, Somos Más” — Together, We Are More, reminds us of the strength, resilience, and impact that come from coming together.
Here’s to the start of a month celebrating Hispanic and Latino heritage and culture! ❤️

On this 25th anniversary of September 11th, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the courage of the first responders and all who served, and hold close the families and communities forever changed by that day.
As a school community, we remember not only the events of September 11, 2001, but also the compassion, courage, and unity that emerged in the days that followed. We remain committed to teaching our students the importance of remembering history, honoring those who served.
Today, and always, we remember 🇺🇸 #WWP #WWPRSD #NeverForget #WeRemember

☀️ Summer is far from over, but August is officially Back-to-School Month! 🎒
While there's still plenty of time for sunshine and family fun, now is the perfect time to start easing back into school routines.
Here are a few simple ways to help your student transition back into "school mode":
📅 Start adjusting bedtime and wake-up times by 15–20 minutes each day.
📚 Read together for 20 minutes a day to get those learning muscles moving again.
🍎 Practice packing lunches or choosing healthy snacks.
🎒 Check backpacks and school supplies so you're ready when the first day arrives.
😊 Talk about the upcoming school year and help build excitement for new teachers, classmates, and opportunities.
A little preparation now can make the first week of school smoother for everyone! #WWP #WWPRSD #Back2School
