WW-P winter athletics registration for high school students is now open. Our high school student athletes can choose to participate in the following winter sports:

• Girls and Boys Basketball

• Girls and Boys Fencing

• Girls and Boys Indoor Track 

• Girls and Boys Swimming

• Cheerleading 

• Diving

• Wrestling

• Ice Hockey- CSP between North and South

As part of the planning process, high school winter athletic registration will run through 11 p.m. Nov. 5, 2026. Parents/guardians must register their child(ren) through the Parent Portal of Genesis.

Upon submission, the parents/guardians who have permitted automated messages from Genesis will receive an email indicating that their registration has been completed and received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please review your registration form to ensure that all required information was entered. 

In addition to registering in Genesis, all registered participants must have a valid physical examination on file. The date of your student’s last physical exam and whether they need an updated one to participate will also be visible to you on the registration form. Should you need to update your student’s physical, a link will be provided to you in the Genesis Athletic Registration form. Only those who have an expired physical examination will be provided the link on the Athletic Registration form. Paper copies will not be accepted. All forms must be uploaded to the registration link provided on the Genesis Athletic Registration form. Should you need to submit a new physical for your student to participate, that physical MUST be received by Thursday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. in order to be sent to and then approved by the district physician. Physical approval may take 5-7 business days after the physical has been uploaded to the link. You will receive an email indicating whether the physical has been approved or if an update is needed. It is important to monitor emails during this process. 

WW-P Athletics requires that all student-athletes complete a Concussion Baseline test through Concussion Vital Systems (CVS). This test provides our athletic training staff with information should your student sustain a head injury. The CVS baseline test is valid for two years. If your student needs to take an initial test or retake the test this information will be available on the Athletic Registration form in Genesis.

Please be aware that high school athletic teams will practice over Thanksgiving and winter breaks. We will also hold practices on days off from school (MLK Day, President’s Day Weekend).
