The spirit of the holiday season is alive and well in our WW-P schools! Our theaters, auditoriums, and cafeterias have been filled with concerts and music. Our PTAs and PTSAs, our student clubs and organizations, and our WW-P staff have been busy hosting holiday events and activities and organizing food and clothing drives for families in need. With the weeks between Thanksgiving and Winter Recess so hectic, I know our staff, students, and families are looking forward to some time to relax and recharge during Winter Break. Whether spending time with family and friends, traveling near or far, or simply enjoying some relaxing and quiet days, I wish our WW-P community a peaceful and healthy Winter Break.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to remain a hot topic both in our schools and community. Across K–12, our students will develop age-appropriate AI literacy—safe, ethical, and content-specific—so they can learn deeply, act responsibly, and thrive as whole children in an inclusive community. Information and resources for our families have been added to the District website. As this tool, and its use in our schools, continues to evolve so will the resources available on the website.
On Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, the Millstone River Bridge finally opened to traffic after being closed for about five months due to construction. The remaining bridge work will be finished during the nicer weather this Spring. It is anticipated that this work will be completed while the bridge remains open to traffic. Although the opening of the bridge makes getting around town easier, there are still other road/bridge closures causing traffic congestion. Families are still highly encouraged to take district provided transportation and to plan departure times accordingly.
