Dear WW-P Community,

Our high school and middle school spring athletics seasons are in full swing. High school scrimmages began this week and middle school teams are completing tryouts. With warmer weather just around the corner, I encourage you to come out and support our student athletes in action. NEW this year to our high school spring sports lineup is cricket. Both High School North and High School South will have co-ed cricket teams that will compete in a newly formed cricket league within Central New Jersey. To view High School North/Community Middle School athletic schedules click here. To see the High School North/Grover Middle School schedules click here. Our spring sporting events are free and open to all students and members of our community to attend. Cricket matches are currently being scheduled and will be included on the websites above once confirmed. Earlier this year, as part of the WW-P Parent University series, we held a webinar titled “The Benefits of Youth Sports”. The webinar panel featured community leaders and WW-P alumni as they discussed how participation in youth sports can have a positive impact on a child’s life and how students can become involved in local youth sports. This year’s winter weather did quite the number on our 2023-2024 school calendar. With spring recess starting on Monday, we hope that the cold weather is behind us. A reminder that with the use of our three built-in snow days (Jan. 16, 2024, Jan. 19, and Feb. 13, 2024), WW-P schools will be open and in session April 1, April 24, and May 24, 2024.

School Calendar Reminders for March/April:

All WW-P schools will be closed for a spring recess Monday, March 25 through Friday, March 29, 2024. District offices will be closed March 29. Schools and district offices will reopen April 1, 2024. In addition, WW-P schools are closed Wednesday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 23.

Wishing everyone a safe and restful spring recess.
